One Liner 7

Always choose life.

Just recently, typhoon Frank hit the Philippines and a passenger ship sank in the Visayas. When people first heard of this, I was surprised since the typhoon was already spotted 2 days before the tragedy happened. What else could I think but blame the captain and the owner of the sea liner. Greed again was the culprit. With more than 800 passengers, why would the captain of the ship would still set sail against a “male-named” (meaning the storm was very strong) typhoon. I just wish people would think more of others than their selves. With just one wrong decision, more than 800 lives is the trade-off.

Now the government officials are thinking to never let any ship sail whenever there is a storm. More than the popularity contest; public officials should do what they are supposed to do, serve the public interest. How many laws are passed each year for the safety and welfare of the people? How do they implement the laws? (Considering they are implementing the law)
We all know officials are corrupt but isn’t there a limit to their corruption? "Moderate your greed", quoted from a witness.
